In-car camera mounting, 12/19/04

I've seen Evo and STi drivers with various camera mounts that have left me green with envy. I've been dying to capture some of my driving exploits on film but had the most trouble getting people with the courage (or stupidity) to ride with me as camera support. Today, my woes are no more. Check out my new driving practice video to see what I mean.

Anyone with an '02 to '05 Lancer ES/LS, OZ Rally, Ralliart or Evolution can do this exact same trick. I'm sure it will work on many other vehicles as well. You will simly need a tripod with legs that have a full 90 degree range of motion. One leg gets pushed down behind the rear seat bottom, and the other two get wedged very firmly into the rear door handle recesses.
