This
special pre-release is intended to provide an interactive functional tour
of our facility for web professionals and veterans of our award-winning
precursor site, Station
One, while initiating our worldwide
compatibility testing campaign.
Not
all features are implemented at this time;
a
Beta
release will be posted in the first week of
September
and include full functionality.
Due to heavy
reliance on Open Standards (non-proprietary) technologies
such as JavaScript 1.1, this Alpha Preview can only be browsed with Netscape
Navigator 3.0 or Communicator 4.0. The "Beta" release of Nepthys
One will accomodate users of Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE) 3.x and
4.x. For the present, If you use MSIE and wish to enter Nepthys
One, please download
and install Netscape Communicator.

The Beta release will include a completely redesigned "Main Lobby," real-time
music and voice feedback, context-sensitive help, a navigation "agent,"
Texture Station background images archive, and more.
